Ideal Week Template
The ideal week template is a tool you can use to get intentional about where you want to spend your time on a regular basis. It is based on the concept of time blocking which holds that you will be more effective if you can consolidate large blocks of time during which you can maintain focus on the task at hand. Most executives do not practice this and it severely limits the amount of time they spend working on the most important priorities in the business.
Once you have completed your own ideal week template you need to share it with those who work alongside you. Ask for their help in sticking as close to the ideal week as possible when scheduling other commitments requiring your presence.
